The Born Body Harness is for confined space or high angle rescue. This harness has redefined harness technology and has become the standard against which all others are judged. Truly a comfortable, easy to don full body harness that meets NFPA and ANSI standards.

The harness is ruggedly constructed of 1 23/32" (45mm) wide 9,000 lbf. (40.03kN) nylon webbing, teamed up with 5,000 lbf. (22.24kN) Mil Spec hot forged hardware. You just cannot beat this combination for high strength and reliability. The Born Body Harness utilizes a single triangular screw link front attachment point for simplicity and dependability. This front attachment is for ladder fall protection, work positioning and lowering and raising systems for rescue and rappelling.

The unique sliding back yoke attachment point is for fall protection, belay line and retrieval line connections. When stopping a fall, the yoke disattaches from its low back point and slides up the shoulder straps suspending the worker in an upright, heads up posture, ideal for self rescue. Also available with a sewn in back D-ring for those who prefer a back D-ring.

Generous padding on the leg loops and chest/back crossing straps and the handy gear loops make the Born Body Harness a joy to work in. The harness is designed to enable the wearer to don it without putting their feet through the leg loops. The leg loops may be disassembled, wrapped around the legs and then secured. When donned in this manner it eliminates the possibility of chemical contamination to the crotch area from grimy boots as all too frequently happens in conventional step-through leg loops.

Includes with triangular screw link and harness bag. We have many requests for full body harnesses with shoulder D-rings to be used as a lifting point in some confined spaced applications. For customers with this need, we offer an option with 5,000 lbf. (22.24kN) Mil Spec forged steel D-rings on the shoulder straps ($21.00 additional). Note: We suggest the use of a "Y" lifting spreader yoke when lifting / lowering with shoulder "D" rings. NFPA 1983-06 and ANSI labeled. Color coded trim enables you to instantly sort harnesses by size. Weight 5 lbs. (2.3kg).
