Waterproof 4" x 6" Tactical Pocket Notebook Kit - Green (4" x 6")

NSN 7530-01-536-2664

This kit includes the following items:

  • Waterproof Tactical Pocket Notebook (4" x 6") - Green
  • All-Weather Tactical Black Clicker Pen - Black Ink
  • Rugged Cordura Nylon Cover/Case

Don’t flag your position with a standard white paper notebook. Instead, protect yourself and your notes by using the "Rite in the Rain" Tactical Notebooks. These spiral bound notebooks have 100 Universal pages (50 sheets) in green. With the Universal Pattern you can use this text for notes and scaled drawings. Useful reference material is also printed on the back and inside covers.

While a pencil works great on these all-weather notebooks, sometimes you just need a pen. This all-weather pen writes on wet paper and upside down in temperatures from -30F to 250F. Flat black, non-reflective metal barrel. Black ink.

The Cordura nylon cover fits all 4" x 6" top spiral notebooks. They have a rugged zipper closure and hold up to 4 writing instruments.

"Rite in the Rain" is a truly amazing patented paper created specifically for writing field notes in all weather conditions. From the torrential downpours in the Pacific Northwest to the blistering heat and humidity of a Florida summer day, "Rite in the Rain" sheds water, so users can continue to write on it, even in a downpour.

The hassle of soggy and illegible paperwork has plagued outdoor professionals for decades. J.L. Darling developed "Rite in the Rain" paper to address that problem for the Pacific Northwest logging industry in the 1920's and their products have been evolving ever since. Today "Rite in the Rain" is used around the globe in situations ranging from desert warfare to rainforest insect research.

TESTIMONIAL:

"My unit was over in the Box longer than we planned and we eventually ran out of standard issue pocket books. We were stationed with the 82nd Airborne and through some channels we received several "Rite in the Rain" all-weather field books. I was amazed how great they worked. With all the polution, dust and sweat it was hard to write anything down with the standard books. The all weather field book never skipped a beat. I used it from the nightly staff briefings, to the all important writing on the go - jotting down the grid coordinates of the latest IED attack. The paper never failed."

Thanks Again,
