After almost three years on the market and getting beat up in the field, our Single PMP has continued to surprise users with its durability, and the longevity of its high efficiency performance. The steady stream of positive feedback has included repeated requests for a Double PMP with the same high quality design characteristics as the Single.The large 3" (76mm) diameter sheaves (2.5" tread) are uncommon in such a compact size pulley and help to maximize efficiency in rope rescue systems. The narrow shape and unique "drop-nose" feature of the becket allow for full rotation of a large rescue carabiner without interference with the prusiks.
The pulley is built around a high efficiency precision sealed ball bearing to counter the performance losses inherent in large pulley systems. Smoothly rotating aluminum sideplates ensure light weight and ease of use. The large top hole easily accepts three rescue sized carabiners. Low profile fasteners help eliminate possibility of snagging.
