New England Ropes' unique polyester sheath differentiates KM III from other static ropes. Polyester absorbs less moisture, is a lower stretch fiber, and more abrasion resistant than Nylon. The polyester sheath is balanced with a Nylon core to limit rotation. KM III is NFPA and CE approved. All KM III ropes come with an NFPA certification tag and CE labels.
