In response to customer demand they've taken their best-selling carabiner and created a three-stage auto-lock version. This new carabiner represents the natural evolution into the smoothest, easiest, most comfortable and secure auto-locking carabiner on the market. The TRILOCK incorporates an entirely new style of internal mechanism within the sleeve and gate of the carabiner. Like in all SMC steel carabiners, the gate and sleeve are constructed of non-corrosive stainless steel for smoother and more reliable action throughout the life of the carabiner. The Trilock is a three-stage auto-lock that operates with easy one-handed motions directed towards your body…Pull, Twist and Open. No more fumbling awkward movements away from your body or odd hand/body combinations needed to open these auto-locking carabiners. All SMC NFPA products are third party tested (by Underwriters Laboratories - UL) as required by NFPA 1983 (2006 edition) standards.
